Hi! I’m Katie. I was born in Manchester in August 1987, but I ran away to Derby in 2006, and now live in south east London with two lovely people who like boardgames, politics and cocktails. When not hunting for something interesting to do for money, I volunteer at the Feminist Library in Lambeth, and several times a week, venture up to the wilds of Hampstead and Edgware to ring tower bells.

I came out of my three years of madness in Derby with a degree in Fine Art Photography, but I have no desire to be a photographer: taking photos is fun, but I’d rather spend my life making people’s lives happier and better: I’m a grassroots activist, fighting for equality, human rights and civil liberties, and a St John Ambulance first aider.

I’m also a (very slow) knitter and rarely caught without a book. I’m very good at procrastinating, mostly due to being easily distra… ooh, look, a shiny!
